FINLAND´S INDEPENDENCE DAY 2009
Independence candle 6/12/2009.

Finland got independence 1917 ( 82 years ago and first from the Russian) and the Russian atacked to our country 1939 (70 years ago)= ... The winter war took 105 days and lot of sacrifies from our nation, but our grandfathers and mothers kept this land independence.
After the winter war more than 0,5 million Finnish refugees moved to the main land from their homes which was occupied by Russians now.

This is the reason fire candle honour (blue&white) for better tomorrow and peace .

Itsenäisyyspäivän kynttilä; sininen ja valkoinen, itsenäisyydestä on 92 vuotta ja talvisodasta vuodesta 1939 kun Venäjä yritti ottaa maamme haltuun on 70 vuotta.
Kaikkiaan nuori kansakunta, kun vertaa historian aikajanaa taaksepäin.
Kunnia esi-isivanhemmillemme.
